Jeff Stanley, MD serves as President of the Virta Medical Professional Corporation and is a practicing physician and senior clinical leader at Virta Health, a pioneer in the treatment and reversal of type 2 diabetes through evidence-based, technology-enabled care.
Board certified in Internal Medicine and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Stanley brings nearly a decade of experience in delivering and scaling innovative metabolic care. He has been with Virta since 2016, where he has played a key role in shaping the clinical model and leading frontline provider teams focused on improving outcomes for patients with complex chronic conditions.
Prior to his work at Virta, Dr. Stanley served as a clinician within Kaiser Permanente, one of the nation’s largest and most respected integrated health systems.
He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University and earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California.
