Instructions
- Rub the meat lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a heavy saucepan over medium heat until hot, but not smoking.
- Sear the meat over medium-to-high heat for 3 minutes per side
- Remove the meat, and then add the onion to the hot pan
- Add chopped garlic, and then cook for another minute until the garlic browns.
- Add the meat back on top of the onions, pour in the V8 can, and then cover.
- Simmer on low heat for 3-4 hours, occasionally spooning the liquid over the meat
