Instructions
- Add oil to the bottom of your slow cooker, along with green onion (white part only) and garlic cloves. Set the brisket on top, fat side up. Pour broth over the top, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and add sprigs of fresh thyme. Cover and cook 6 to 8 hours on low, or until brisket is completely tender.

- Optional: If you have a little extra time and want more of a crust on your brisket, you can sear it before putting it into the slow cooker.
